Ordered a 6-inch malt chocolate cake for my birthday. It was delicious! I love chocolate and the flavors were rich and decadent. The layers of the cake are very neat and it’s filling enough to serve at least 10 people. Leftovers keep pretty well in the fridge.
Five stars for the Chocolate Babka alone. It is so amazing. The first time I went I just bought a single slice. But I was so blown away that every time since I have always bought an entire loaf. In fact, I bought a couple for family members for x-mas. Everything else here is excellent as well & you'll find some unique treats, but the babka is unbeatable.
Ordered 16 mini cakes from Cake Monkey Bakery for my mom’s birthday, and they were a hit! There were about 9 different flavors, and they were both adorable and delicious. Everyone was blown away by both the taste and the visuals. The customer service was top-notch. Every time I called, the staff were friendly, and the woman who helped me on pick-up day was very kind and helpful. Can’t wait to try more things from them. Amazing little bakery with modern twists on classic delicious goodies as well as usual items with their own great take. I love the Cakewich, basically the modern, tastier, better quality ding ding. It’s cakey, moist, chocolatey, not too sweet, a nice fudgy coating, and perfect amount of cream filling Staff is always so kind and friendly!
This place has absolutely amazing coffee and I don’t know why there’s not lines out the door every morning. We even buy the bags of coffee for home. The homemade cold foam is heavenly.
I’ve been going to this bakery for years and always enjoy every single deliciousness they make. I’ve also special ordered for special occasions and guests love the mini cakes. My favorite cakewiches are the black & white and peppermint mocha (seasonal). My favorite go-tos: - chorizo cheddar croissant - sage cheddar croissant - babka pinwheel - chocolate hazelnut babka - chocolate banana bread - inside outside s’mores Highly recommend trying everything as well as grabbing a coffee/latte to go!
Every bite of these chocolate chip cookies was pure perfection. The cookies were fresh from the oven and had an amazing texture and flavor. The chocolate chips were rich and evenly distributed throughout each cookie. The quality and attention to detail really shine through. A truly memorable dessert experience.

We do not live in Los Angeles. We traveled all the way from North Dakota to celebrate my wife's birthday, and I ordered a cake over the phone in advance. I was impressed by how attentive and professional the staff were. They carefully listened to all of my requests and recommendations, and helped me choose a wonderful cake. The cake was incredibly delicious, light, and made with fresh fruit. When I arrived, everything was ready exactly as promised. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. I would especially like to recognize and thank the pastry chefs who created the cake. Their work exceeded our expectations and made my wife's birthday even more special. We were extremely pleased with the entire experience. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for high-quality pastries or a custom cake for a special occasion.
